ABOUT

The Inspiration

It was my mother's 75th birthday.
What could mark the occasion?
If asked what she’d like as a gift, she’d probably say something intangible like
“to have my family all together".

And so, I created an elegant scarf featuring the personal details of all her loved ones that she could wear close to her heart each day.
That scarf became known as the Timeline Scarf.

Since 2018, I've created many items like this for families wishing to honour their loved ones in a special way.

The Inspiration

It was my mother's 75th birthday. What could mark the occasion? If asked what she’d like as a gift, she’d probably say something intangible like “to have my family all together".

Since 2018, I've created many items like this for families wishing to honour their loved ones in a special way.

A modern twist on the family tree using bold colors and stunning designs - a perfect way to honour the legacy of your loved one

Your family's story. My passion for design.

Professionally, I have practiced as a Landscape Architect for over 15 years. I have had the privilege of working on incredible projects across Canada for both Canadian and International firms. I am curious how people interact in public spaces and am motivated to contribute to city-building through art and design.

The Progression

My journey into color began in 2017 after winning a public art competition to paint a 12,000 sq’ wall in downtown Toronto. My idea was simple: to paint a stylized gradient from blue to green around the existing trees and vines to show their growth over time. The difficulty became constructing the gradient – reconciling my digital versions with (seemingly) millions of paint chips!

Ever since coming across Josef Albers’s pivotal book Interaction of Color, I have been compelled to explore color theory, environmental color design and the idea that colors of the natural environment may be permanently altered because of climate change.
